Katharina Knust (06/12)

Katharina Knust is a Berlin based filmmaker. She studied Media Arts at Bauhaus-University, Weimar and at Concordia University, Montréal as well as Media Production in Dublin.

In her fiction and non-fiction work she observes everyday life situations, in search for big, loud and universal emotions in small and quiet moments.

Her latest films ICE GIRLS, 2012 / 74 min. / documentary, and GIRLS DON’T CRY, 2011 / 14 min. / short fiction film, Co-Director Carolin Bock, focus on the age of adolescence and girl culture.

At Talo she will be working on a video installation exploring the space of changing rooms.
